Help Us Launch Dinner Rush: A Bold, Unfiltered Brand for the Hospitality Industry

At Dinner Rush, we’re working to build something special—something created by and for the hardworking people in the restaurant and bar industry. This isn’t just about clothing; it’s about creating a community, a voice, and a support system for hospitality workers. To bring this vision to life, we’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $5,000 to cover essential startup costs for Dinner Rush apparel and Dinner Rush Radio, a 24/7 online station featuring live talk shows, comedy, music, and real stories from the industry. Here’s how your support will help make this vision a reality.

Where Your Donation Will Go:

  1. Apparel Production and Screen Printing Equipment – $2,000

    • We’re committed to producing unique, high-quality streetwear that speaks to the grit, creativity, and resilience of the industry. To do this, we’ll be investing in equipment to produce apparel in-house for greater control over quality and production. Additionally, we plan to expand our products for sale at events, pop-ups, and markets, building a stronger community connection. The costs include:

      • Screen Printing Press: A reliable 4-color, 1-station press ($500) will allow us to create multi-color designs in small batches.

      • Heat Gun/Dryer: A small conveyor dryer or a heat gun to cure the ink ($300).

      • Ink, Screens, and Other Supplies: Quality ink, screens, emulsion, and cleaning supplies ($400).

      • Blanks for Expanded Inventory: High-quality blank shirts, hoodies, and hats to diversify our stock for events and pop-ups ($500).

  2. Basic Radio Studio Setup for Dinner Rush Radio – $1,500

    • Dinner Rush Radio will be a cornerstone of our brand, giving us a platform to broadcast live, uncensored talk shows and music. Here’s what we’ll need to set up our studio:

      • Microphones and Audio Interfaces: High-quality, reliable mics like the Shure SM7B ($400) and a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface ($200).

      • Mixer: A basic mixer ($300) for live callers, sound effects, and music.

      • Headphones and Monitoring Equipment: Closed-back headphones ($150) and basic monitoring equipment ($100).

      • Server and Hosting: Hosting and server setup to stream live radio ($250 for initial and monthly fees).

  3. Marketing and Advertising – $1,000

    • We’re dedicated to building a brand that reaches the people it’s made for. This budget will go toward:

      • Social Media Advertising: Targeted campaigns on Instagram and Facebook ($500).

      • Influencer Partnerships and Collaborations: Product seeding and influencer partnerships ($300).

      • Email Marketing: A budget of $200 for software and campaigns to build a dedicated community.

  4. Studio and Workspace – $500

    • A small, dedicated studio space will allow us to focus on both screen printing and radio production, providing a home base for our work. Costs include a work table, shelving for supplies, and basic soundproofing for quality radio recording. This space will also be used for order fulfillment to ensure we serve customers efficiently.
